Youth group planning bake sale fundraiser

The youth group of First Christian Church is holding a fundraiser for Jim Shaw who is currently battling cancer. On Jan. 25 at 2:30 p.m., at First Christian Church Carney Hall, we will be hosing a bake sale fundraiser. If anyone would like to donate a baked good to auction off they can contact Tiffany Snyder at 870-740-1005 to sign up. If they can't bake, they can help out two others ways: come buy some of our delicious treats, or simply donate some money to the cause...

My son Brock and I visited Thunder Bayou for a round of golf July 5, more out of curiosity than anything else ... I am course superintendent at Blytheville Country Club and Brock is assistant superintendent at Jonesboro Country Club.
