Man convicted of raping 2-year-old

A Blytheville man was convicted Thursday in circuit court on two different counts involving sexual assault of children. Robbie Ward was charged with the rape of a 2-year-old female and sexual indecency with a 5-year-old male. Convicted murderer released on bond

A Blytheville man who was convicted of second-degree murder in 2011 and sentenced to 80 years in prison, has been released on bond. According to the office of the prosecuting attorney, an attorney for Shawn Rainer filed an ineffective assistance of counsel, stating that Rainer's representation during the 2011 trail was incompetent, and at the end of July a judge set his murder conviction aside, with plans to re-try him for the same crime. ...
