Mrs. Teresa Ann Walling, 49, of Tyronza, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at her home

Rylah Serenity Thomas and Rylin Charity Thomas died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Mr. Eddie Dale Bryeans, 66, of Gosnell, passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Mr. James Garland Bailey, 70, of Dyess, died of cancer Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home.

I was in Walker Park on Nov. 5 (Monday) around 9:30 a.m. when one of our city Public Works truck pulled into the park. The driver of the truck pulled the truck up to one of the trash cans on the grass while the passenger got out of the truck to take a leak on one of our city trees...

Arkansas voters on Tuesday narrowly rejected a proposal to legalize medical marijuana and approved a sales tax increase to pay for $1.8 billion in highway repairs throughout the state.

Arkansas Republicans seized control of the state Senate for the first time since Reconstruction in Tuesday's election, while also preventing Democrats from taking a majority of seats in the state House.
