Mr. Leon Robertson, 91, of Blytheville died earlier today at Saint Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Mr. Bryan Moffatt Bonds died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at the age of 86.

Yesterday was my birthday, and I have now reached the magic age of 60. Actually, I can't tell you what's all that magical about it ... it feels just like 50 or 40 to me but maybe it's just the sound of it.

The Gosnell Pirate high school football team, junior high team, high school cheerleaders, junior high cheerleaders, band and dance team were all introduced to a large crowd Thursday night during a "Meet and Greet" at the football field.

There will be a "Meet and Greet" for the community, Blytheville athletes and coaches at 6:30 p.m. Monday night at Chickasaw Gym. The purpose of the event is to get the community familiar with the new faces in the Blytheville athletic department, said athletic director David Hixson...
