Mr. Alexander Mathis, 51, of Blytheville, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at the Osceola Therapy and Living Center.

Mr. Kent E. Andrews Sr., 62, of Blytheville, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, in Blytheville.

Members interested in the political process within Farm Bureau are invited to the Annual Resolutions Event, set for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Northwest Research and Extension Center in Keiser.

Southern Bancorp recently presented Main Street Blytheville with a $15,000 donation to be used for the demolition and construction of the old Hoops Drive-In lot.
