Mrs. Emma Virginia Hoskins Webb, 88, of Independence, Mo., passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

Mr. Rodney Lee Riggs, 51 of Manila, passed from this life Monday, May 7, 2012, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science Medical Center in Little Rock following a courageous battle with leukemia.

Mrs. Viola Lucas, 81, of Gosnell, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Mrs. Wanda Sue Knight, 78, of Blytheville, died early Sunday, My 6, 2012, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Mrs. Dessie R. Greenlow, 71, of Blytheville, died Friday, May 4, 2012, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Mr. Curtis Barnett, 54, of Blytheville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in Grady.

Here we go again -- dead fish floating in Walker Park. It saddens me that what was once a place to spend my childhood years is now in such horrible shape. I pray that the Kiwanis Club does the right thing and moves the fishing rodeo out to the Sportsplex. If they don't, I hope that they would please not put any more fish into it until it can be cleaned up and out...
