Mrs. Martha Wrencher, 85, of Blytheville, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her home in Blytheville.

Mr. Charles Donald Collum, 81, of Osceola, entered into rest Monday, March 26, 2012, in Osceola.

Mr. Robert Lee Priget, 44, of Blytheville, died Friday, March 16, 2012, in Blytheville. He was born Nov. 29, 1967, in Blytheville.

Recently, my neighbor's house was broken into, and several items were taken. Our Police Department responded promptly, but had little to go on. Burglaries are happening, and we all need to stick together and help each other. Lock your house and vehicles. Be alert. If you see someone or a strange vehicle in your neighborhood that seems suspicious, call our Police Department at 870-532-8545. They need your help. We need your help...

One of my favorite places to run in recent weeks has been the Arkansas Aeroplex. I'll usually start on Memorial Drive, then venture either into the Westminster Village residential area, or into the more industrial-looking section of buildings that once served the Eaker Air Force Base.

Gosnell Water Association spent the majority of Tuesday working on a broken main pipe on Northgate Road. When the pipe burst, it flooded several yards, and GWA spent more than eight hours working to make the repairs, leaving many in the area with out any water for most of the day...
