Mrs. Neta Flo Wade, 90, of Richmond, Va., went to be with her Lord Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell E. Wade.

Mr. James Ronny Skaggs, 58, of Keiser, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at Saint Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tenn.

With hearts both heavy and joyful, the family of Frank Jackson Huffman Jr. announces his peaceful death at home Monday evening, Dec. 19, 2011.

On Dec. 12, around 4:30 p.m., we started hearing noises in our store that we could not recognize. Curiosity got the best of Kim, and she went out the back door to see what was going on. She couldn't find where the noise was coming from. I told her that it was probably something pertaining to construction work being done for the overpass on Ash Street...

Mrs. Estella Crenshaw, 83, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Destrehan, La.

On March 13, Blytheville voters will consider a 15-month, 1-cent sales tax to pay the city's multi-million dollar Internal Revenue Service debt, after the Blytheville City Council unanimously passed a pair of ordinances, Tuesday night.

During a two-hour meeting Tuesday night, the Blytheville City Council approved an ordinance redrawing city ward lines.

Local fugitive Justin Richardson, 23, who was arrested on Dec. 19, was arraigned Wednesday morning in Blytheville District Court on 28 criminal counts, stemming from 13 separate incidents.
