Officers with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force recently arrested Maurice Jackson of Osceola, who was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Pennington, 82, of Brunswick, Maine, formerly of Blytheville, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at her residence.

Mitchell Zolman is grateful for every moment. He recently received a liver transplant, but the costs are overwhelming. Volunteers are planning several fundraisers to help.
