An Osceola man and a Manila man were arrested last weekend after officers of the Mississippi County Drug Task Force received a tip, said Lt. Robb Rounsavall of the DTF.

BELTS program comes to BIS

Charles Betts and the ACTION group of Blytheville launched a new program Wednesday morning at Blytheville Intermediate School. The program is called BELTS Around America. BELTS stands for Better Education Leads to Success.

Hwy. 164, NN to become 4-way stop

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) began working recently to improve the intersection of US 164 and Route NN in Pemiscot County, and on the outer perimeter of Dunklin County. Installation of transverse rumbles, red flashing signals and stop signs for east and westbound traffic on US 164 will be included in the project.

Chicks travel to Beebe Friday night

The Blytheville Chickasaws hit the road to take on the Beebe Badgers Friday night in another tough 5A-East match-up. The Chicks (12-4, 6-1 5A-East) defeated the Badgers (13-3, 5-1 5A-East) back in January, 62-46, at Chickasaw Gym.
