The new-look Blytheville City Council unanimously passed the 2011 budget Tuesday night during Blytheville Mayor James Sanders first official meeting as the city's leader.

A Little Rock man has been arrested and charged in connection with the first murder in Blytheville this year.

The premiere production of the radio play "Legend of the Jackal" will take the stage of the Ritz Civic Center at 7 p.m. Saturday. The play will be recorded live and aired on 910 AM KLCN at a later date.
