Ex-Blytheville police officer Terry Winkles' anger management course was not satisfactory to the Blytheville City Council members, they decided after about an hour executive session discussion Tuesday afternoon. The CIT Group/Equipment Financing, Inc. is seeking judgment against the former lease holder of the South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center. CIT, of Mount Laurel, N.J., claims Ameris of Osceola, LLC; Ameris Arkansas Holding, LLC; and Ameris of Arkansas, LLC defaulted on payments of nearly $500,000 for the lease of hospital equipment the company financed in 2006. CIT also alleges Ameris is liable for an additional $12,325.51 in personal property taxes...
