Bobby Gene Brock

Bobby Gene Brock, 88, Blytheville, departed from this life on Aug. 6, 2024, at his home in Blytheville. Blessed to be born on April 1, 1936, to the late Warren Brock and the late Annie Taylor in ElDorado, he was the husband of the late Freda Daniels.

Mr. Brock worked with heavy machinery as a log truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Warren and Annie Brock, Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Brock; two brothers, Red Eugene Brock and Leon Brock; and two sisters, Maggie Meadows and Ruby Meadows.

He leaves to cherish his memory his nephews, David Meadows of Blytheville and Ricky Meadows of Osceola; four nieces, Tina Keyes and Shelly Meadows, both of Blytheville, Trudy Jones of Osceola, and Jane Jones of Joiner; as well as a host of great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Phillisia Bragg, a very special friend of Mr. Bobby Brock.

Services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville Saturday, Aug. 24, with the visitation from 1-2 p.m. and the funeral following at 2 p.m. Pastor Jessie Jones will be officiating. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
