William Joe “JoJo” Richardson

William Joe “JoJo” Richardson, 42, passed away July 4, 2024, in Jonesboro. Born Feb. 22, 1982, in Osceola, JoJo was a cherished member of his community and a dedicated employee at Nucor-Yamato Steel in Blytheville.

JoJo is survived by a loving family, including his father, William Joe Martin of Arlington, Texas; his mother, Lillian Richardson of Osceola; his sons, JaQuavion Richardson of Nashville, Tenn., and Braton Rucker of Osceola; and his daughters, Jamiyah Richardson of Nashville, Tenn., Jayla Richardson, Chalyse Richardson and Sa’Dia Flie, all of Osceola, and Armani Facon of Wilson. He also leaves behind his brothers, Kaytin Martin and Christopher (Folanda) Richardson, both of Osceola; and his sisters, Joyce Garth of Killeen, TX, Aaliyah Jolly of Springfield, Ill., and Maurissa Anderson of Metropolis, Ill. His grandparents, Malikai Dean of Nashville, Tenn., and Samora McGowin of Osceola, also survive him.

A man of faith, JoJo was an active member of the Baptist community. His life will be celebrated with a visitation on Friday, July 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1323 W. Keiser Ave., Osceola, AR 72370. The funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday, July 20, at Pleasant Grove Community Church, 222 E. Semmes, Osceola, at 10 a.m. with pastor Johnny Brown officiating. A committal service will follow at Whiteside Cemetery, Osceola.

Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola is assisting the family with arrangements. JoJo’s legacy as a devoted father, son, brother and friend will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
