Thelma Sue Lee

Thelma Sue Lee, 83, of Manila, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Thelma was born in Manila to Thomas Vernon and Susie Kirby Martin. She was a retired factory worker and a lifelong resident of Manila. She had a knack for working with her hands, often cross-stitching, sewing and quilting. Thelma was also a great cook and made the most delicious red velvet cake. She is loved by many nieces and nephews.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and six sisters.

Thelma is survived by her husband, Lonnie Lee of the home; sisters, Barbara Altman and Ila Tice; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at Manila Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Riley officiating. There will be no visitation. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
