Sharon Denise Houston

Sharon Denise Houston, 56, of Joiner, passed away July 4, 2024. Born July 23, 1967, in Dixie, La., Sharon was the cherished daughter of the late James Ray Houston and Florence Houston. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Charles Houston.

Sharon is survived by her brother, Anthony Houston of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Devonne Houston of Shreveport, La., and Cassandra Smith of Texas; a special friend, Dixie Merritt of Bassett; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

A devout member of New Bethel M.B. Church in Joiner, Sharon was deeply involved in her church community and found great solace and joy in her faith.

A memorial service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Rev. Robert Pearson will officiate the service. All arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Sharon’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew her.
