Amos Anthony Reed

Amos Anthony Reed was born Aug. 18, 1961, to Freddie and Leola Reed in Blytheville. He departed this life March 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; four brothers, Larry Johnson, Michael Reed, Danny Reed and Eric Reed; one sister, Debra Ann Reed Feemster.

Amos worked at Eaker Air Force Base, Blytheville Fire Department for eight years and NIBCO for 29 years. Amos’ passion was grilling and spending time with his family and friends, among other things and always willing to help others.

Amos will be forever remembered by his two daughters, April Antoinette Reed of Orlando, Fla., and Londyn Houston of Blytheville; two stepdaughters, Erica Davis Jackson of Bossier City, La., and Ylonda Drew of Little Rock; two brothers, Clyde Reed (Gloria) and Benny Northern; one brother-in-law, Derrick Feemster all of Blytheville; six sisters, Easter Moore of Miami, Fla., Barbara Mitchell, Stacey Reed, Dorothy Thomas (Earl), Teresa Northern and Linda Northern; his father that raised him, Benny Northern, all of Blytheville; one aunt, Anita Johnson of Jonesboro, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville. Funeral service be held Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m. at Temple of Praise Church, 1601 Chickasawba, Blytheville. Interment will be at Memory Garden Cemetery in Blytheville.
