Robert Earl Holt
Robert Earl Holt, 72, of Gosnell, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at his home.
Robert was born in Blytheville to James and Captola Green Holt. He was a retired automotive technician and was of the Pentecostal faith. Robert loved thrift stores and was always looking for a bargain. He collected antiques and especially loved to collect frogs, birdhouses and anything John Deere. He enjoyed being outdoors and working in his yard. Robert loved to joke and make people laugh. He enjoyed watching Nascar, wrestling and Storage Wars on television. Robert loved his family and enjoyed spending his time with them. His favorite saying was, “Well, gotta go. The road is getting cold.”
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy, Joe and James Holt; and sister, Mildred Williams.
Robert is survived by his children, Brian Holt of Rome, Georgia and Gregory Holt of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Dallas Holt and Dustin Holt; niece and caregiver, Diane Jarrett of Blytheville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, at 11 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Holifield officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
