Mary Arriola, 81, of Blytheville, passed away March 1, 2022.

Mary was a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was not only a mother to her family, but to the whole community. She was an inspiration to anyone she met. If you could not find her cooking in the kitchen, then you could find her spending time with her family. Her most precious times were spent with her family but, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary started working with her family before she was 12 years old and never would stop. She spent much of her time giving to others, by fundraising or simply cooking their favorite meal. Mary was the best dancer, best cook, hard working, selfless, fearless, protective, loving, caring, and mostly importantly, everyone's biggest supporter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo Zuniga and Ramona Salazar; husband Miguel “Mike” Arriola; three sisters and a brother.

Mary is survived by her children, Mike and Margie Arriola of Blytheville, Yvette and Brad Houck of Cabot, Joel Arriola of Blytheville, and Randy Arriola and Lisa McGregor of Blytheville; brother, Joe Zuniga of Holland, Mich.; sister, Noelia Segovia of Holland, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, at 2 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Trey Shearin officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 12 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
