James Kenneth Ward, Jr.

James Kenneth Ward, Jr., 54, of Osceola died Sept. 28, 2020, at SMC Medical Center in Osceola. He was a construction worker. Mr. Ward was born July 20, 1966, in Osceola to James and Emma Woodson Ward. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ward.

He is survived by his mother, Emma Ward of Osceola; his fiancee, Shana Torrez of Osceola; two sons, Dezmon Ward and Xavior Ward of Osceola; five daughters, Liberty Torrez, Skyla Ward, Rita Ward, Destiney Ward and Aireal Ward of Osceola; five brothers, Randall Ward of Grand Rapids, Mich., Elliott Ward (Shully) and Travis Ward (Kenyatta) of Jonesboro, Quincy Ward and Antonio Young (Tameka) of Osceola; six sisters, Stephanie Richmond, Rita Ward, Equinsha Ward and LaKenya young of Osceola, Betty Ward of Memphis, Tenn., and Latasha Ward of South Bend, Ind.; three grandchildren, Jaterria Stevenson, Dequasia Johnson and Demarrion Ward of Osceola.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 10, from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Pastor Gregory Baker officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
