Earnest Lee Jackson

Mr. Earnest Lee Jackson, 61, of Osceola, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, in Trumann.

Born in Memphis to the late Robert Jackson and Katie Jackson Hursey, he was a gin worker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by one sister, Fannie Mae Jackson; and one brother, Robert "Jigsaw" Jackson.

He leaves behind his wife, Theodora Jackson of Osceola;

Four sisters, Joann Reed of Osceola, Julian Hursey of Little Rock, Barbara Jackson of St. Louis and Imogene Thomas of Memphis;

Three brothers, Chester Jackson and Danny Jackson, both of Osceola, and Ricky Lee Jackson of Little Rock; and

Four daughters, five sons, 39 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at St. John Full Gospel Church in Osceola with Bro. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
