Armorel Baseball

The Armorel Tigers came up two runs short in their bid to repeat as 1A state champions Saturday afternoon, falling 5-3 to Midland. The Tigers finished the year with a 21-14 record. They picked up another conference title and their fourth consecutive district title along with a regional title as well. Armorel made its seventh trip to the state semifinal game in nine years and their fifth in a row.
