Buffalo Island American Cancer Relay for Life was held on Friday, June 25. It ended a little earlier than usual due to lightening but it was still successful.

The 2010 Relay for Life kicked off with a balloon release in honor of the cancer survivors.

Brenda Matheny, chairman for the Relay for Life, introduced the steering committee.

Each team captain had to offer a song or a dance from their decade. Kay Staggs leads in a dance from the 1950's.

Kays 50s Classic Rodders Diner won first palce for campsite, and second runner-up for best grub, and first runner-up for the spirit stick.
