A large crowd gathered downtown on Saturday to enjoy the annual Chili Cook-off and Harvest Festival. There was something for all ages — food, games, music, information booths and more. Best Chili went to Farmers Bank and Trust, followed by the Blytheville Police Department and Nucor Melt Shop. Nucor Shipping was the People’s Choice winner, followed by Bethany Baptist Church and Blytheville Primary School. TMK IPSCO won the showmanship award with State Farm taking second and Blytheville Primary third. Nucor Shipping won the sportsmanship award.
