Storms came through the Buffalo Island area early Wednesday morning leaving damage but fortunately, no injuries were reported. Several areas were without power.

Fire at the Melody Theater in Leachville started in the back of the building.
Suspected lightening was the cause of the Melody fire damaging the stage area and leaving smoke damage throughout the building.
BIC FFA teams were out early on Wednesday helping with clean-up for residents in Monette.
One of the two BIC FFA teams volunteered to use their day off to help with clean up. The school was closed due to power outages due to the early Wednesday morning storms.

Light poles were damaged
Light poles were down along Highway 18 in Monette.
Thrasher home in Leachville lost their carport to the strong winds.
Several trees were damaged due to the storm.
