BIC Journalism students win numerous state awards

Buffalo Island Journalism students were welcomed home from the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association convention. They received several awards including Editor of the Year and Photojournalist of the Year.

Congratulation signs and balloons were waiting on the BIC Journalism students to arrive home. The staff earned eight Best of ASPA awards; 18 superiors; six excellent; and 12 honorable mentions. The Hoof Prints won All Arkansas and Superior.
