Pink Night at Monette Ballpark

Each year the umpires, and Monette Ballpark Association, choose a night raise money for the Buffalo Island Relay for Life. This year Pink Night was held on May 7. They raised over $700 for the BI Relay for Life.

Joining the host teams were the visitors who also lined up for the first pitch by local cancer survivors.

Lela Adams Ashley, who is undergoing treatments for breast cancer, threw out the first pitch for her daughter's 8 and under softball game who caught the picture. Her younger daughter helped with the pitch.
