The concrete work and flag poles at the Veterans park area in front of City Hall was done by the Meadows family in memory of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Meadows.

Family members of veterans who died in battle had photographs of their loved ones and released a balloon for each one of the 17 names listed.
