The annual Caraway Harvest Fest was held Saturday, Oct. 26.

These teens try on scarves at Rad and Lux's booth at the 13th Annual Caraway Harvest Fest. The business, which is based in Jonesboro, had scarves, earrings and other items for sale.

Kalli Shasteen, of Caraway, got her face painted at the Caraway United Methodist Church's Kids for Christ program booth. The booth had drawings for door prizes, a scavenger hunt for kids and much more.

Kenny Weathers is pictured stirring a big pot of soup at Poor Boys Garden's booth at the Harvest Fest. The restaurant is located in Caraway and provided hungry attendees with soup all day.

Attendees of the 13th Annual Caraway Harvest Fest stopped by the Caraway Veterans Memorial Booth to buy chances to win a Remington shotgun, which was later won by Ted Thomas. Also being sold at the booth were gumbo, fried Snickers, funnel cakes, and crocheted items. All proceeds earned at the Harvest Festival is going toward the Caraway Veterans Memorial fund.

Caraway City Councilman Bo James, Fire Chief Scott Browning and others cooked and served food at the Caraway Ambulance Service Booth.

Linda Scott, of Osceola, added a little bit of Christmas to the Caraway Harvest Fest with her booth of Christmas wreaths and decor.

Jennifer Powell brought her reclaimed wood items including signs, picture frames and some furniture to display at her booth.

Mi Taqueria Mexican Restaurant of Lepanto was one of many food booths offered at this year's Harvest Fest. There were food booths such as the Bentley family, which had three generations cooking, and ones like Donnie Griffith's, of West Memphis, that just loves to be a part of Caraway's Harvest Fest. The food booths provided everything from hot dogs and nachos to funnel cakes and ice creams and even some home cooking like fried potatoes and cornbread.

Kids in attendance at Caraway's Harvest Fest had plenty to be excited about. These children enjoyed showing off their face paint as they ran from one booth to the next.

Caraway Mayor Barry Riley (left) presented Mark Shasteen with a proclamation declaring Saturday, Oct. 26, Mark Shasteen Day in Caraway. The proclamation was to thank Shasteen who has been organizing the city's annual harvest festival for 13 years.
